Well, I can give you a bit of good news. Play the Sicilian Kan is nearly ready and should be available within a week.
The others - good ideas. I'll discuss with the editors.

Hi

Great!
How about a 'coming soon' for ebooks as well as printed books?

Thanks, chaps, for some great suggestions. PT Kan is now done, as is Dearing's Nimzo work. We're currently working on a couple of your other ideas. Do please keep them coming, but don't forget that the bigger/more theoretical a book, the longer e-production takes!

With both Vigus' Pirc book and Play the Kan out, and Starting Out: The Trompowsky presumably on the way, I'm very happy. Thanks for listening to suggestions!

I will just repeat two others I mentioned in another thread: How to Beat the French Defence and The Classical King's Indian Uncovered. Though I realize that both are very theory-heavy.

Out of curiosity, I assume many authors nowadays already have their analysis and comments in Chessbase or pgn formats, which obviously makes the e-production much easier. Do you often find yourselves computerizing a book completely "from scratch"?

Can I suggest the Stonewall book by Aagard? I like it very much and nobody seemed to mention it.

I also like Queens Gambit Declined by Sadler.

And Play The London by Lakdawala, too. ;)

We do try and avoid producing an ebook without chessbase files, as of course it takes longer, however there are some titles that really need to be converted to ebooks, so we go ahead anyway.

My top 4 at the moment

Mastering Chess Strategy - This should be a great book! It seems to cover practically all the chess strategy a tournament player would need.
Play The London System- Very common between amateurs
Starting Out: The Dutch Defence- Also very common, at least where I live
Positional Sacrifices- Very short book, easier to do

I just started reading "Discovering Chess Openings" by John Emms and find it very useful and entertaining, is this one in your list of future ebooks?

I'd like to see
Play the London System,
How to Play Against 1d4
and Practical Endgame Play - Mastering the Basics (by Grivas) would also be interesting.
